When in a hurry to get to where you need to go sometimes you may speed. The last thing you need when running late is to be pulled over. On top of going to be late from being pulled over you now have a ticket to worry about. Getting a ticket is a hassle, it will cost you money and time.
No matter your reason for speeding, a ticket is something that you do not want to get. Speeding tickets keep effecting you long after you receive it. You have to deal with your insurance going up over the next several years and receiving points on your license. This is why you want to get out of a speeding ticket. No reason to let police and local governments make money off of your speeding tickets.
Some state and local governments have laws requiring that a radar gun has to be calibrated in a certain amount of days.
One tactic that you can use is to delay the court date. Do not lie but see what honest continuances that you can have and request them. Sometimes by doing this the police office may no longer be available.
When you go to trail consider seeing if you can speak with the prosecutor before the trial, sometime you can make a deal with the prosecutor before the trial.
Speeding tickets can effect you long after you paid the fine, to increase you chances to beat a ticket, check if you state have time requirements on radar calibration, see if you can delay the case and look into making a deal with the prosecutor before the trail.
